Engineering:

Once our Engineering Department receives the new job information, they will immediately send out a contractor’s options letter (see attached). Once this information is returned, they can finish up shop drawings and submit to the contractor for review and approval by LADOTD. When the shop drawings are approved, the Engineering Department will send out a copy of the stamped drawings to P.M, Production, Purchasing, Q.C. and Logistics.

If a problem occurs during or after fabrication of members, Engineering will be directly involved with all NonConformences. They are responsible for preparing a possible solution if they feel the problem may be fixed adequately to meet the strength, durability and cosmetic requirements.
