APPLICATIONS WITH SINGLE HEAD ROTARY SYSTEM
The most common techniques that are currently used for constructing water wells are based on single-head systems and include: - rotary percussion drilling with down the hole hammers (DTH) ; - rotary drilling with direct circulation of bentonite muds or polymers ; - rotary drilling with reverse mud circulation . The choice of the drilling methodology is largely dependent on the soil type, as well as on the diameter of the well and the required depth. Comacchio machines are designed to be equipped with a wide choice of rotary heads and flush pumps , thus adapting to any project requirements. Moreover, the development of a wide range of rod handling systems has allowed mechanizing and automa ting, partly or completely, the handling of rods, significantly increasing safety levels.
