MC 40 VERSATILITY & POWER

The MC 40 is a high-performance hydraulic drilling rig designed for the installation of large diameter micropiles . The design of the machine incorporates a solid base structure, that includes a variable width undercarriage , designed to offer enhanced load carrying capacity and stability to tackle the most demanding applications including large DTH drilling. Thanks to its sturdy pantograph articulation , the MC 40 can accommodate long-stroke masts that are particularly suitable for highly productive single pass micropiles installation methods. In addition to the ‘conventional’ micropile configuration, the MC 40 can be configured for continuous flight auger drilling ( CFA ) and full displacement piles ( FDP ) installation. The MC 40 can be equipped with hydraulic proportional servo-assisted controls or with the innovative Comacchio radio control system , which manages all machine functions. Like all Comacchio rigs, the MC 40 can be customized according to specific needs of the customer.

The MC 40 is a highly adaptable machine with a range of options to configure the drill to meet your requirements, applications and tooling types . These include a variety of rotary and rotary percussion drilling systems. A feature of the MC 40 is the flexible modular hydraulic system, this allows the power to be used and managed according to the type of drilling operation . The multi-functions of the rig can be controlled with great precision thanks to the use of separated and well-defined hydraulic circuits. The MC 40 can be configured to meet individual project requirements, enhance efficiency and increase productivity under actual operating conditions. La robusta struttura di base e l’ articolazione a pantografo permettono il montaggio di un mast con avanzamento ad argano e una corsa utile che può variare da 14 a 16 m . Oltre al tradizionale allestimento da micropalo , la MC 40 può essere configurata per realizzazione di pali gettati in opera, con l’utilizzo di metodi altamente produttivi come la tecnologia CFA o FDP . La versione CFA/FDP della macchina consente di realizzare pali fino a 16 m di profondità che possono essere estesi a 20 m con l’impiego di prolunga canotto. Gli allestimenti possibili prevedono anche la configurazione con doppia testa , che può essere richiesta in condizioni di terreno particolarmente difficili.

MULTIPLE CONFIGURATIONS

The sturdy base structure and the pantograph articulation allow for the installation of a mast featuring a powerful feed/ retract winch system and long strokes that can vary from 14 to 16 m ( 17’ to 52’ ). In addition to the ‘ conventional ’ micropile setup , the MC 40 can be configured for the construction of cast-on-situ piles , with the use of highly productive methods such as CFA or FDP technology . The CFA / FDP version of the machine allows for the installation of cast in situ piles of up to 16 m ( 52’ ) length that can be extended to 20 m ( 66’ ) with the use of a bespoke extension. The possible set-ups of the MC 40 also include the double-head configuration which is used to tackle difficult overburden conditions that require simultaneous drilling and casing.
